Little Bear lived all alone on a desert island. "I wish i had something to play with,"he said.
Astick came floating by.
Little Bear picture in the sand. Then he drew some more.
"I need something else to play with,"he said.
He was tired of drawing pictures.
A bottle came floating by.Little Bear picked it out of the sea.

小熊独自一个人，好无聊，希望找些可玩的东西。于是他从海面上捞起了一些物品，不过仍觉得不满意，心想若再有一个杯子那该多好。后来，水面漂来了一只会动的木马，两人很高兴地交起朋友，一起玩躲猫猫，一起在沙滩上画画。玩着、玩着，海上又漂来许许多多的东西，小熊贪心地全捞了起来。由于东西实在太多了，他就嫌木马朋友碍手碍脚的，随即要他爬到最高的地方去，木马一个站不稳，摔下大海中，然而小熊却完全不自觉他的朋友不见了。后来小熊虽然找到了水杯，可是没有木马朋友来分享他的喜悦，哭着、哭着，木马朋友又回来了，于是他才知道友谊才是最宝贵的。
