Chose this book for 4 & 6 yr. grandaughters. They like the story & have asked to have it read afew times. The textures used in the illustrations are appealing, the story line is ok. The moral is good. I would recommend it to be checked out at the library, but not necessarily for my home library.

Love this book is so cute. The pictures are well done as is the flowing rhyming story. Great for a fifth birthday present.

My five year old daughter picked this out at a book fair two months ago and LOVES this book. I probably would not have chosen it for her, but nevertheless it is a sweet story. She has taken it to bed with her every night for six weeks. She is a new reader and between memorizing some and reading some she can "read" the entire book to herself.
