The book 《Moon Bear》was awarded Bank Street Best Children's Book of the Year and had amazing reviews (see: http://us.macmillan.com/moonbear).

Here is one from Karen Mok (莫文蔚), singer and actress: “Children will love this book with its stunning images and simple message – that we should value these bears as the majestic animals they were born to be, not because of what they can produce. I’m sure this charming tale will touch many children, instilling in them a love and respect of animals from a very early age.”

Moon Bears, or Asiatic black bears, are becoming increasingly rare in the wild. They have distinctive blazes on their chests that resemble the crescent moon. The bears are seldom seen but leave footprints, claw marks, hair, and bear nests high in trees. These traces provide clues about their lives in the mountains and valleys of South East Asia. Follow one moon bear in the wild as she eats, plays, hibernates, and wakes up again in the spring. See some photos of real Moon Bears at the back of the book!
