This is the story of an adorable pup named Jingle who does not have a home. He hangs out near Pineville Elementary School. Suddenly the boys and girls disappear; everyplace appears deserted. Christmas break is about to begin. Sadly, Jingle falls asleep. Soon he is awakened by a most pleasant surprise visitor who changes his life forever.

The art work in this book is excellent. Unfortunately, the story text has many repetitive sentences that begin with the words but and and...not a stunning example of proper sentence structure. Also, the book is advertised as interactive. It is not made clear that one has to purchase the stuffed bear at Hallmark in order to hear the various responses of the dog when the text is read.
