In the story, Sally comes up on a beautiful balloon hanging in a store window. Her mom buys it for her and she names him Blue. They become best friends and in the end it tells how she loses him and how he makes the long journey back home to her. I would like to dedicate this book to my youngest child of six children, Briley, who inspired me to make up this short story to tell her at the age of two and later I decided to write this book.
