This book tells of what happened when Skarloey came home after beingmended. You will remember from Four Little Engines that Sir HandelBrown, the Owner, had sent him away. Skarloey is not real, but there is areal engine just like Skarloey. He is very, very old and has been mended. His name is Talyllyn, and he lives at Towyn in Wales.
