Once you start this series, youwill not want to stop until you have read the entire saga. Theauthors are experts at building suspense and writing cliffhangers,so save yourself some money, and buy it all at once. Myeight-year-old son is deeply invested in these characters, and I'mhooked, too.
That said, these books are not the greatest literary works on theplanet. They are full of stylistic inconsistencies, continuityerrors (what color are Crowfeather's eyes?), and outrightgrammatical errors. Nevertheless, the stories themselves make upfor the occasional lack of art in the telling of them, and I amglad to have been able to share them with my son.
